StipaCaller — Terms of Use

By creating an account or using StipaCaller, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What StipaCaller is

StipaCaller is an invite-only personal messaging and calling app operated by Lesti Software Oy (Finland). Accounts can only be created by redeeming an invite code received from an existing user. The app is intended for personal communication between people who already trust each other.

What you agree not to do

You agree to use StipaCaller only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not affect other users' enjoyment of the service. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You will not use StipaCaller to:

• Send harassing, threatening, hateful, or sexually exploitative content to anyone, including content that targets minors.
• Send unlawful content, including content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Distribute spam, malware, or unsolicited bulk communications.
• Attempt to compromise the integrity of the service, the server, or other users' accounts.

Violating these rules may result in your account being terminated without notice.

Reporting abuse

If another user sends you objectionable content or behaves abusively, you can:

• Use the in-app Block and report action (long-press a contact → Block and report). The user is blocked immediately — no further messages or calls reach you — and an email opens so you can describe what happened. We receive the report directly.
• Email lev@lestisoftware.fi directly with details if you don't have email set up on the device.

We commit to reviewing reports within 24 hours and, where the report is substantiated, to removing the offending content from the server and ejecting the offending user from the service.

Content moderation and end-to-end encryption

Chat messages between users are end-to-end encrypted (libsodium crypto_box_seal / X25519). The server cannot read the plaintext of messages and cannot proactively scan or filter chat content. Voice and video calls are likewise end-to-end encrypted via DTLS-SRTP and not stored. Moderation therefore relies on user-side reporting (Block / Report) backed by our 24-hour response commitment above.

Your account

You are responsible for activity on your account, including keeping your invite redemption secure. You can delete your account at any time from inside the app: Profile → Delete account. Account deletion permanently removes your user record, your message history on our server, your contact graph, and any invite codes you have issued.

Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

No warranty

StipaCaller is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be available, error-free, or that messages and calls will always deliver.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lesti Software Oy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of StipaCaller.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to StipaCaller at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason. You may stop using the app at any time and may delete your account from within the app.

Changes

If these Terms change materially, the "Last updated" date above will reflect the new revision date. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Finland.
